Tracie Bush, M.A., CKPMT
Founder and Executive Director

Tracie is one of four Certified Specialists in the Kazdin Method™ Parent Management Training. She holds a Master's degree in Psychology with a focus on evidence-based treatments. She worked at the prestigious Yale University Parenting Center and Child Conduct Clinic with Dr. Alan Kazdin from 2006-2013 as a Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist, Certified PMT Specialist, and as a Behavioral Consultant. While at the Center, she helped devise and implement the current professional PMT Training Seminars, the parent and professional Online PMT Training, and the Certification in PMT for professionals.

Currently, Tracie provides treatment for children with behavioral problems and anxiety. She serves as a PMT Behavioral Consultant to the children's psychiatric in-patient unit at the University of North Carolina Children’s Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC. She is also a contracted Behavioral Consultant at the Betances Early Reading Lab Magnet School in Hartford, CT and continues to certify professionals from around the world in PMT, in-person and on the web. 

She previously worked as a Preschool Consultant, Child Development Advisor, and a Mental Health Counselor for Youth Opportunities Upheld. in Worcester, MA. For 8 years she was a Research Coordinator for the Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Clinic at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center with Russell Barkley, Ph.D., also in Worcester, MA. There she published several articles on the functional deficits of young adults with ADHD.

Tracie has extensive experience working with children who have a variety of psychiatric diagnoses including: Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Conduct Disorder, and Anxiety Disorders. She has trained hundreds of families and countless professionals from around the world in-person, online, or on the phone in PMT. Using the current technology she has been able to reach parents and professionals in: Australia, Luxembourg, China, Poland, Canada, Germany, England and all over the United States.  

Tracie currently lives near New Haven, CT with her husband and two daughters.
